Sale 2nd XI slumped to another defeat to leave their promotion dreams in tatters. Although Timperley bowled accurately, they showed few signs of real penetration as the Sale batters managed to get themselves out in variety of different ways. The most common dismissal being caught as extras finished the top scorer when Sale were dismissed for 105 in the 32nd over.
In reply Timperley made easy work of reaching their total as Chouhan (76 not out) single handedly saw the visitors home to their total. Sale bowler Moore took 2-36, but with so few runs to defend Timperley were never under any real pressure.
