CRICKET FORCE WEEKEND 2007 is 31st March & 1st APRIL - ALL CLUB MEMBERS PLEASE PUT IN YOUR DIARY AND SUPPORT
The ECB instigated a new initiative in 2005, "Cricket Force", a dedicated weekend when cricket clubs across the country focus on ground improvement and maintenance. Sale Cricket Club took on this initiative to great success, building 4 new sightscreens in 2005.

This was followed by another great weekend in 2006 when we built a new umpires changing room, renovated the scorebox, repainted the showers and toilets and serviced the covers.
This year we are aiming to rack-out the store rooms, build a small kitchen area in the pavilion area, install power to the nets and repair all the storm damage inflicted on the covers and sightscreens ... so it is going to be a busy weekend again!
John O'Donnell & Iain Harrop are once again co-ordinating our efforts, but do need everyone's commitment to come down and help out. If you do not feel you can help out with the actual work, there are plenty of smaller jobs you can do, including there is a regular supply of tea and coffee!
We would also like to hear from anyone within the club, or any local companies who can make an 'in kind' donation of materials or specialist labour. If you can help in anyway please Contact Us.
