Established in 1854 Sale Cricket Club has a long history in Cheshire Cricket. We currently field 3 senior teams in the The Right Move Abroad Cheshire County Cricket League and junior teams in the South Manchester Junior Cricket League and Salford Youth Cricket Association.

Situated on the southern border of Greater Manchester the club boasts one of the largest and best-kept grounds in Cheshire. We have an open membership policy and always welcome new members.
In June 2005 we achieved another milestone in the club's development, when we were awarded the prestigious Clubmark accreditation, ensuring that our club is "safe and child friendly".
This was followed by the installation of a new 4-bay net facility, funded by the ECB Community Club Development Fund, in July 2006.
In March 2007 we completed a sponsored bike ride from Blackpool to Sale, see the photos here.
In September 2007 the club embarked on an ambitious project to relay the entire square over two autumns, ensuring the club has a high quality playing surface for generations to come. Click on the photo (right) to see phase one stage-by-stage.

Junior Coaching takes place every Monday evening from 6pm and Senior training takes place every Thursday evening from 6pm. Please come along and give it a go, all are welcome!
